The Two-Stepping Process

Prompt training involves teaching AI, like ChatGPT, to respond consistently based on examples and clear instructions. This method helps the AI recognize patterns, improving its responses across various tasks, from formatting to tone.

Initial Prompt (Step 1):
Begin with a simple, straightforward prompt to get the AI’s first take on a topic or task. This sets the foundation for the response.

Transformation Prompt (Step 2):
After receiving the initial output, ask the AI to refine, enhance, or alter the response. You can guide it to shift the style, expand ideas, clarify points, or improve details. This refinement helps focus the AI on specific improvements without overloading it.

Examples

Creative Writing:
Step 1: ” Write a short story about a city where emotions are traded as currency.”

Step 2: ” Now, add a twist where people start running out of emotions to trade, causing societal collapse, and explain how the protagonist finds a hidden source of emotions.”
Cooking with the Elements:
Step 1: ” Create a recipe for a dish that uses fire, water, air, and earth as core ingredients.”

Step 2: “Now, include the steps to capture each element for the recipe.”
Metaphysical Puzzle Creation:
Step 1: “Design a puzzle where solving it unlocks a philosophical truth about existence. ”

Step 2: “Now, refine the puzzle so that each step of solving it mirrors stages of human consciousness—leading to a deeper self-realization by the time it’s completed. ”
