Overview of AI and its applications

Artificial Intelligence (AI) allows machines to perform tasks that need human-like thinking, such as problem-solving and language processing. We see AI daily in tools like Siri, Alexa, chatbots, data analysis, and creative fields like art and music.

Generative AI, like ChatGPT, DALL-E, Copilot, Claude, Groq, Meta, and Stable Diffusion, goes beyond early AI by creating new content—text, images, and music—using advanced neural networks. While current AI excels at specific tasks, researchers are aiming for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which could adapt and perform a wide range of activities like humans.
